Kenya Airways Launches Direct Flights to London Gatwick, Boosts UK Travel Connectivity

Kenya Airways has launched a new direct flight service to London Gatwick Airport on Wednesday.

FCNN gathered that the move aims to strengthen air travel links between Kenya and the UK.
However,the new service is a milestone in Kenya Airways’ commitment to enhancing international connectivity and improving passenger convenience.

The ceremony was attended by high-profile dignitaries, which include Hon. Rebecca Miano, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Ms. Teresia Mbaika, Principal Secretary, State Department for Aviation and Aerospace Development, H.E. Ed Barnett, MBE, Deputy High Commissioner, British High Commission and Hon. Caleb Kositany, Chairman, Kenya Airports Authority.

Furthermore,Kenya Airways will now operate ten weekly flights to London, which include three weekly services to Gatwick and seven weekly services to Heathrow.

The new service is expected too bolster tourism, trade, and diplomatic ties between Kenya and the UK.Also,it will offer a convenient alternative gateway for travelers heading to or from London.

Kenya Airways has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering global partnerships,supporting economic growth and delivering world-class service across its expanding route network.
