Kogi Poly to Begin Degree Programmes in Affiliation with FUL
According to the management of the institution, the affiliation marks a major milestone in the history of the polytechnic, as it transitions into offering higher academic opportunities beyond National and Higher National Diplomas (ND & HND).
With this development, prospective students will now be able to pursue Bachelor’s degree programmes in selected fields right within the Kogi State Polytechnic campus, under the supervision and accreditation of the Federal University, Lokoja.
The Rector of KSP expressed optimism that the collaboration will enhance the institution’s academic profile, expand access to quality education, and produce graduates equipped with modern skills to compete globally.
Stakeholders in the state have welcomed the move, describing it as a bold step toward advancing higher education and reducing the pressure on limited admission slots in universities.
