Policemen attached to the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 23-Year-Old Man, identified as Gbolahan Adebayo, for allegedly beating his 25-Year-Old Girlfriend to death.
FCNN gathered that the tragic incident occured on 21 February 2025.
The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, while confirming the incident stated that the suspect committed the offence at about 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Ijedodo, Isheri-Osun.
According to him: “A neighbour said he saw the man beating his girlfriend in his room for a reason yet unknown. A few minutes later, the suspect screamed for help.

“On reaching the suspect’s apartment, he found the girlfriend lying unconscious with visible marks on her body.
“The girl was rushed to a hospital in Ijegun, where she was confirmed dead.”
