Lagos political crisis: I have resumed – Impeached speaker Obasa storms assembly

Impeached speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has mentioned that he has resumed his position as the leader of the parliament.

The embattled speaker made the declaration on Thursday after arriving at the Assembly complex accompanied by heavy police and State Security Service (SSS) personnel, guards marking his first return since his removal on January 13.

“I’ve resumed, and I remain the Speaker of the Assembly,” Obasa stated.
