Chaos in Kebbi as bandits abducts FUBK students in hostel raid
An off-campus student from the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi (FUBK), along with a Fulani herder, were reportedly attacked by unidentified gunmen at Istijaba Hostel in Unguwar Jaji, within the Kalgo Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The university’s Public Relations Officer, Jamilu Magaji, confirmed the incident, stating that the armed men invaded the area around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

He added that five assailants targeted students residing at Istijaba Villa, an off-campus hostel in Unguwar Jeji.
