Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Mourns Former President Muhammadu Buhari

The Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, CON, has expressed profound grief over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

In a condolence message, Senator Kyari extended his heartfelt sympathies to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, describing Buhari’s death as a great national loss.

He also offered condolences to the late President’s family, the government and people of Katsina State, and all Nigerians.

Senator Kyari remembered Buhari as a disciplined, principled, and patriotic statesman whose leadership left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s history. From his tenure as Head of State in 1983 to his two-term democratic presidency starting in 2015, Kyari praised Buhari’s steadfast dedication to national development, integrity, and accountability.

He further noted that the Buhari administration laid the foundation for key reforms that continue to shape Nigeria’s development trajectory.

The Minister prayed for Allah (SWT) to forgive the late President’s shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
