Minister of Women Affairs Condemns Tattara Attack, Calls for Justice for Victims
The Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has strongly condemned the brutal attack on residents of the Tattara community in Panda Development Area, Karu, Nasarawa State, over the weekend.
In a statement issued by her Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Jonathan Eze, the minister expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of innocent lives and called on security agencies to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
The statement reads:
“I am deeply shocked and saddened by the gruesome murder of innocent citizens in Tattara community, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims.
“I condemn this heinous act in the strongest possible terms.

“The loss of life under any circumstances is unacceptable, and I urge security agencies to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into this incident.”
The minister extended her condolences to Governor Abdullahi Sule and commended his efforts to address security challenges in the state. She expressed optimism that the measures implemented by the governor would prevent future attacks and ensure the perpetrators of this tragedy are held accountable.
She also noted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to tackling Nigeria’s security challenges, emphasizing the need for swift action to protect citizens in Nasarawa State and beyond.
