Missing AAU Final-Year Student Found Dead After Five Days

A final-year student of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, identified simply as Blessing, has been found dead five days after she was reported missing.

Blessing, a student in the Department of Microbiology, was last seen on Sunday, with reports indicating she disappeared following an examination on Monday.

Sources disclosed that messages sent from her phone hinted at a possible abduction, with a ransom allegedly demanded.

However, in a tragic twist, police officers discovered her decomposing body within her residence during a search of the premises.

Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation is currently underway.
