Missing Daughter of Actress Jumoke George Found Stranded in Mali

Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has shared a positive update regarding the four-year search for Adeola, the daughter of veteran actress Jumoke George, who was recently discovered alive in Mali.

This development follows a heartfelt interview where Jumoke George emotionally revealed that her 41-year-old daughter, Adeola, had been missing and completely out of contact with her and other family members for several years.

In an update shared on Wednesday via Instagram, Biola Bayo announced that Adeola had been found in Mali. Although she has yet to directly contact her mother, reports confirm she is alive and currently receiving medical care.

“UPDATE! Adeola has been spotted in Mali. Though she hasn’t spoken with her mom yet, please tell her to call her. She’s currently in the hospital, but she’ll be happy to speak with her at least. I’ve tried calling her, but she hasn’t been picking up anyone’s calls, and her mom is really worried,” Biola wrote.

Biola also revealed that the search and confirmation of Adeola’s whereabouts were made possible by the Child Rights Campaign (CRC).

According to the organization, Adeola had left Nigeria in pursuit of better opportunities and, despite her current hospitalization, is alive and working toward her goals.

In a follow-up post, Biola shared a voice conversation with Adeola, who explained that she had lost her phone and became stranded in Mali due to a violent conflict between the military and Boko Haram terrorists, which resulted in numerous deaths.

She has since been stuck in the country without travel documents or a way to return home.

Biola captioned the clip: “I finally got to speak with Adeola and this is what she said. She hasn’t called her mom yet, but mom is happy she’s alive.

@jumoke_george is currently at a state hospital in Lagos. Hopefully, she’ll be discharged or admitted after completing her medical tests — we’re not sure yet.

Thank you all for your massive support and love. I’m deeply grateful.”
