My Reliable Partner— Governor Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Wife Ibijoke at 58

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has showered accolades on his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, as she marks her 58th birthday, describing her as a dependable partner and a key pillar in his administration’s success.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, the governor praised Ibijoke, a medical doctor and Chairperson of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), for her unwavering dedication to the Greater Lagos agenda. He lauded her for her devotion as a wife, mother, prayer warrior, and leader who has positively impacted lives both as a medical professional and as the state’s First Lady.

Sanwo-Olu highlighted her critical role in advancing the THEMES+ development agenda, which focuses on improving the lives of Lagosians, while commending her courage, compassion, and dedication to good governance and democratic dividends.

“My jewel of inestimable values has been a major pillar of my success, standing by me all through the journey for several decades. We’ve sojourned together in the turbulent public space and standing side by side, working for the good people of Lagos State,” the governor said.

He celebrated her as a God-fearing woman, a prayer warrior, and a passionate advocate for women and children, whose efforts through her office and COWLSO have significantly improved governance and the welfare of Lagos residents.

The governor wished his wife continued good health, prosperity, and impactful years ahead.
