NAF Airstrikes Eliminate Scores of Terrorists in Borno

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through its Operation Hadin Kai, has conducted successful airstrikes that killed scores of Boko Haram terrorists and destroyed one of their strongholds in Borno State.
The air operation, carried out in the early hours of Friday, targeted fleeing insurgents in Bita—a well-known Boko Haram enclave in the North-East.
According to a statement released by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the mission represents a significant step in weakening the group’s operational capabilities.
“The Nigerian Air Force, through the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai, has achieved a major success against Boko Haram terrorists,” the statement read. “In a precisely coordinated air assault executed under the cover of darkness, NAF combat aircraft struck fleeing terrorists in Bita, neutralising scores of them.
It is considered one of the most decisive operations against the group in recent times.”
The NAF added that ground troops have begun clearance and exploitation operations to build on the gains of the airstrikes.

Reaffirming its commitment to national security, the Air Force assured Nigerians of ongoing efforts to deny terrorists any safe haven within the country.
