NCPC Boss Pays Condolence Visit to Widow of Late Jerusalem Pilgrim
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has visited Mrs. Ogunkanmi, the widow of Pastor Magistrate Olasanmi Ogunkanmi, at her residence in Ikorodu, Lagos, to offer his condolences.
The late Magistrate Ogunkanmi, 58, had recently returned from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem with the first batch of Lagos pilgrims. He passed away on January 1, 2025, in his sleep, shortly after returning home, having completed his spiritual journey with joy and satisfaction.

During the visit, Bishop Adegbite sympathized with Mrs. Ogunkanmi, urging her to find solace in her faith and trust that her husband has found eternal rest. He remarked: “Your husband lived a well-fulfilled life on earth, it is therefore not how long one lives on earth that matters but how well.”
Adegbite described Magistrate Ogunkanmi’s passing as providential, noting that it was significant he died on the night of his return from such a sacred experience.
The late Magistrate Olasanmi Ogunkanmi will be laid to rest on February 8, 2025, following a service of songs scheduled for February 6, 2025, in Lagos.
