A tragic road accident has occurred on the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State, involving several students who were heading to sit for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The incident happened on Saturday morning and involved a commercial vehicle carrying the candidates to a JAMB centre in Ogbomoso..
It was gathered that the accident was caused by brake failure. Also, an official statement from the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer has not been released as of the time of filing this report.

However,the incident claimed the lives of several students who were on their way to take the UTME.
