New Kogi CP Resumes Duty

The newly appointed Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Bello, has officially assumed duty as the 40th Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command.

CP Bello took over the leadership of the command today, pledging his commitment to strengthening security operations and enhancing collaboration with community stakeholders to ensure the safety of lives and property across the state.

In his maiden address, the new CP expressed readiness to sustain ongoing efforts in tackling crime and maintaining peace, urging officers to remain professional, disciplined, and dedicated to their duties.

He also called on residents of Kogi State to cooperate with the police by providing useful information that would assist in curbing criminal activities.

CP Naziru Bello succeeds the former Commissioner of Police, whose tenure witnessed several strides in crime prevention and community policing initiatives.

His assumption of office marks a new phase in Kogi’s security framework, as the command continues to prioritize public safety and effective law enforcement.
