Niger Government Receives 17 Kidnapped Victims Rescued in Kaduna

The Niger State Government has received the 17 kidnapped victims who were rescued in Kaduna State. The victims were abducted on March 3, 2025, from Loto Village, via Kuchi Sarkin-Pawa, in Niger State.

The rescued victims were received by the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba, and other state government officials at the State Police Headquarters, Dutsen-Kura, Minna, on April 11, 2025.

According to reports, the victims were kidnapped on March 3, 2025, and have been in captivity until their rescue. Their release and return to Niger State have brought relief to their families and the community.

The Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, expressed gratitude to the security agencies for their efforts in rescuing the victims, and assured that the state government will continue to work with security agencies to ensure the safe release of any remaining kidnapped persons.

The rescued victims are expected to undergo medical checks and counseling to help them recover from their ordeal.
