
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State has deployed 2,800 personnel across all 16 Local Government Areas to ensure a safe and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Deployments were concentrated in markets known for past incidents of theft, and checkpoints will be in place around transport hubs to monitor and avert criminal activities in those areas. Special emphasis on vulnerable communities was made.
