NIMC Upgrades Diaspora NIN Enrolment Platform for Better Service Delivery

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced the upgrade of its diaspora National Identification Number (NIN) enrolment platform to enhance efficiency and service delivery for Nigerians abroad.

In a statement signed by its Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Kayode Adegoke, the Commission said the enhanced system offers more secure, seamless, and robust services.

According to Adegoke, all NIMC Diaspora Front-End Partners (FEPs) have been onboarded onto the upgraded platform and given intensive training to ensure effective application and management of the new system.

He explained that all FEPs are required to obtain and activate their NIN enrolment licences on the new platform within 48 hours, after which diaspora applicants can access services from compliant centres.

The Commission apologised for any inconvenience experienced during the upgrade process and assured that a dedicated service team is available to resolve all diaspora enrolment-related issues. Applicants facing challenges are advised to contact the Commission via nimccustomercare@nimc.gov.ng for prompt assistance.

NIMC further noted that NIN enrolment is ongoing at all centres in Nigeria, with locations available on its website, www.nimc.gov.ng. Nigerians at home and abroad can also update their NIN data via the self-service portal at https://selfservicemodification.nimc.gov.ng.
