Content creator and actor Victor Nwaogu, popularly known as Nkubi, and his wife have opened up about the persistent bullying and trolling they endure on social media.
The couple, who are parents to a young daughter often featured in their family skits, said they hoped to introduce her positively to their audience.
However, a recent Facebook post with a hurtful caption about their child drew widespread reactions and further highlighted the negativity they face online.
Speaking in a recent interview, Nkubi and his wife recounted how they were taunted even during their courtship, but stressed that the abuse on social media has been far more intense.
Nkubi’s wife revealed that to safeguard her mental health, she deliberately avoids reading comments, acknowledging the damaging effects of online hate.
She emphasised that despite the negativity, their daughter remains a blessing, describing her as the light that transformed their family.
The couple added that they are committed to giving their daughter a bright future while shielding her from toxic aspects of social media.
