No Factions in NANS: I’m the Only Legitimate President — Ladoja Declares

The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Olusola Ladoja, has firmly reiterated that he remains the only legitimate and internationally recognized leader of the association.

Dismissing claims of a parallel leadership, Ladoja described the alleged emergence of another NANS president as laughable and a clear case of impersonation.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Ladoja specifically called out Atiku, who, according to him, did not participate in the most recent NANS convention but has continued to parade himself as president.

He described the act as a “violation and impersonation which shall be met with the full weight of legal and moral consequence.”

“It is, therefore, necessary to place on public record that Comrade Olusola Ladoja remains the sole, legitimate, and globally recognized President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), having emerged through a transparent, democratic and widely monitored electoral process.”

Ladoja’s remarks come amidst renewed confusion over the association’s leadership, but he insists that there is no faction or dispute within NANS, reaffirming his mandate as valid and lawful.
