Noble Merry Empowerment Foundation Reaffirms Commitment to Household Food Security

The Managing Director of the Noble Merry Empowerment Foundation, Mrs. Ogechi Iwunze-Anthony, has reaffirmed the foundation’s dedication to promoting food security for families across Lagos and other states in Nigeria.
Speaking at the official unveiling of the foundation’s new head office in Lagos, Iwunze-Anthony highlighted the foundation’s ongoing efforts to combat hunger and malnutrition amid challenging economic conditions nationwide.
“Our mission is built on the belief that we rise by lifting others,” she stated. “Through the foundation, we support families year-round by providing food, gifts, and other essential items, helping them meet their basic needs.”
The unveiling event began with prayers led by Rev. Father Joseph Ozo of St. Jesus the Saviour Catholic Church and Rev. Father Pascal Aggrey of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ikorodu.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by Mrs. Oge Nweke, a lawyer and mentor to Iwunze-Anthony.
The event was attended by numerous beneficiaries, including schoolchildren who celebrated alongside the foundation.
Explaining the presence of the pupils, The Managing Director of the Noble Merry Empowerment Foundation mentioned the foundation’s Back to School initiative, which supports underprivileged children by covering school fees and providing books and learning materials.
She also spoke about the Street Feeding program, through which the foundation provides meals to the homeless and vulnerable populations in Lagos.

On the subject of funding, Iwunze-Anthony revealed that the foundation is supported by a board of visionary and compassionate individuals, along with generous contributions from friends and well-wishers.
