Ododo’s Father’s Demise: Deputy Governor Welcomes VP Shettima to Kogi

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu, on Thursday received the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, at the Obajana Airstrip. The Vice President is in the state to lead a presidential delegation on a condolence visit to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo, who passed away on Monday.

Joining the Deputy Governor to welcome the Vice President were Hon. David Idris Zacharias, Member representing Idah Federal Constituency; Hon. Shehu Seidu Amodu, Member representing Ofu Constituency in the State House of Assembly; the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D.; the State Head of Service, Dr. Isaiah Evinemi; Deputy Chief of Staff, Hilary Ojoma Egwudah; State Security Adviser, Rtd. Cmdr. Jerry Omadara; and other top government officials, including advisers, directors, and heads of security agencies.
