Olukoya ordains 5,000 pastors at MFM

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, on Sunday ordained 5,000 men and women as pastors, urging them to remain dedicated to their calling and avoid rebellion.

The ordination marked the climax of the four-day 2025 Global Ministers Conference themed “The Message, the Messenger and the Power”, held at the MFM Prayer City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

In his address, Olukoya warned the new pastors against rebellion, describing it as a “killer.” He cited the biblical example of Absalom, who rebelled against his father and died in battle, stressing that many today parade themselves online as “general overseers” and “superintendents,” but that only time would reveal the genuine ministers.

“You are ordained today; whose anointing are you carrying? Is it the oil of God or of man? Men may call you, but they cannot anoint you. Only God can truly call and ordain,” he said.

He reminded the pastors that while people may recommend them, only God sees the heart and determines their worthiness. He further charged them to live uprightly, avoid oppressing their flock, and remain diligent in service.

“From today, you must not be the same again. You must work faithfully for God and ensure your conduct, both inside and outside the church, reflects your calling,” Olukoya declared.
