Oluremi Tinubu Calls for Inclusive Policies on International Day of Social Justice

First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has reaffirmed her commitment to fostering a more inclusive society, urging collective efforts to break down barriers that hinder social justice and equality.

In a statement marking the 2025 International Day of Social Justice, themed “Empowering Inclusion: Bridging Gaps for Social Justice,” the First Lady emphasized the need for a Nigeria where every citizen—regardless of gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic background—has equal opportunities to thrive.

“Today, we reflect on the progress we have made and acknowledge the challenges that remain in our journey towards social justice,” she said.

She stressed that inclusion is key to national development and called on Nigerians to work together to bridge the gaps that divide society.

“It is time to pull down barriers and create spaces for inclusion, where no one is left behind. Let us work together to bridge the gaps that divide us, ensuring that every Nigerian, especially those from marginalized communities, is empowered to succeed in life,” she said.
