Ondo Police Arrest Notorious Cult Leader, Recover Stolen Cattle Worth N41m

The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a suspected cult leader, a 28 years old,Olujide Boluwaji Israel, aka “Kendowell”, who was terrorizing students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) and the Owo community. He was apprehended at a hideout in Owo.
FCNN gathered that the police recovered 22 out of 55 stolen cattle and 8 sheep valued at ₦41 million, belonging to Prince Fasua Peter Oyeleye. The suspect, Ali Garuba Muhammed, is still at large.
A 22-year-old man, Gabriel Pius, was arrested for allegedly stabbing his friend, Abu Simon, to death during a domestic altercation in Idanre Local Government Area.
The Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Lawal, disclosed the developments in a press briefing in Akure.
He praised the police operatives for their swift response and assured that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fugitive and recover the remaining livestock.

The command reaffirmed its commitment to flushing out criminals and urged residents to provide timely, credible information to support security operations.
“So, with sustained public cooperation and the continued use of technology in our operations, we can maintain this positive momentum and collectively build a safer, more secure, and peaceful Ondo State for all,” he said.
