PZ Cussons Nigeria has relaunched its hygiene brand, Carex, under the banner of its “Win the War Against Germs” campaign, reaffirming its dedication to promoting safe hygiene practices in Nigerian homes.
At an event held in Lagos on Wednesday, the company unveiled Carex’s refreshed Masterbrand identity and an expanded range of antibacterial products, including handwash, bar soaps, and antiseptic liquids.
Speaking at the launch, Oghale Elueni, Managing Director of PZ Cussons Nigeria, emphasized that the relaunch represents more than a brand update. “Carex has always represented protection and care.
This isn’t just about a new look—it’s about a renewed mission to combat germs wherever people are: at home, at work, in school, or on the go,” he said.
Martha Kayode, Head of Marketing, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the brand’s recommitment to safeguarding Nigerian families.
“This relaunch is a fresh beginning. It reaffirms our promise to deliver effective, skin-friendly formulations that kill over a million germs in seconds,” she said.
The event drew praise from prominent figures in the business and public health sectors. Jonny Baxter, British Deputy High Commissioner, linked the milestone to the broader UK-Nigeria partnership.
