The Taraba State Nigeria Police Force, Command has revealed that a pastor and a woman were killed by gunmen in Jalingo, the state capital.
SP Usman Abdullahi, the spokesperson of the command, said the pastor and the woman were killed on Friday night, adding that the woman was shot in the stomach while studying for examination in her room while the pastor was also shot by the gunmen.
However, according to the police spokesperson, the gunmen did not kidnap any person or went away with money or any valuable from the two compounds they invaded.
The names of the victims or if any arrest was made was yet to be disclose by the police.
