Jimmy Carter Wins Posthumous Grammy for Best Audiobook Narration
The late Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States, has been honored with a posthumous Grammy Award for Best Audiobook, Narration, and Storytelling Recording at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
Carter’s award-winning audiobook, Last Sundays in Plains: A Centennial Celebration, features his final Sunday school lessons in Georgia, where he reflects on love, kindness, forgiveness, and the afterlife.
Released in August 2024, the audiobook also includes musical contributions from renowned artists such as Darius Rucker, Jon Batiste, and LeAnn Rimes.
His grandson, Jason Carter, accepted the award on his behalf, celebrating the recognition of Carter’s enduring legacy.
