Police recover stolen drugs in Niger State

The Niger State Police Command has announced the recovery of eight cartons of suspected stolen medicines from an uncompleted building in Suleja.
The discovery was made on Monday night in the Sandaco area after residents raised concerns over the abandoned cartons.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the command’s spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, said the recovery followed a quick response to a public complaint.
“On August 19, 2025, at about 8 pm, information was received at ‘B’ Division Suleja that some items were abandoned behind the Sandaco area. Police operatives moved to the scene and recovered eight cartons of pharmaceutical drugs, including Amodiaquine, Sulfadoxine, and Pyrimethamine,” he said.
