The Anambra State Police Command has rescue a kidnapped victim in Ihiala Local Government Area of the state.
The command said its combined team of police, military and vigilantes carried out the operation of busting into the kidnapper den which was located in Umuduru in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, leading to the rescue of a kidnapped victim unhurt.
This was made known in a press statement issued by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the command spokesman on Tuesday.
Ikenga added that the action was achieved following the arrest of a suspect few weeks ago and his confession of being a member of a criminal/notorious kidnap gang terrorising the state, especially in Ihiala.
