
Federal Government has celebrated its first-ever National Police Day at Eagle Square, Abuja on Monday,in a great ceremony that brought together high-ranking security officials, dignitaries, and members of the community.
The event showcased the inaugural official recognition of National Police Day, established by President Bola Tinubu to honor the sacrifices, bravery, and dedication of police officers across the country.
April 7 has now been designated as an annual date to celebrate the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) and acknowledge their essential role in upholding peace and order.

The festivities at Eagle Square included a parade, awards presentations, and exhibitions demonstrating the police’s operational capabilities. Families of deceased officers, retired personnel, and active officers all participated in this momentous occasion.
