Protesters Storm Governor’s Office Over Killing of Five Farmers
Protesters have stormed the Ondo State Governor’s Office in Alagbaka, Akure, shutting it down in outrage over the killing of five farmers by armed herdsmen.
The farmers were reportedly shot dead on Wednesday morning at Aba Oyinbo in Akure North Local Government Area, sparking widespread anger among residents.

Earlier this month, herdsmen had carried out a reprisal attack on four communities in Akure North, resulting in multiple casualties.
Demonstrators displayed the bodies of the slain farmers in front of the Governor’s Office, demanding urgent action from the government.
In addition to the protest at the Government House, angry residents also blocked the Akure-Owo highway at Ogbese, leaving many motorists stranded.
