Rihanna never fails to make a statement at the Met Gala, and this year was no exception as she revealed her pregnancy with her third child, expecting with rapper A$AP Rocky on Monday night.
The news of the 37-year-old singer and beauty mogul’s new baby bump surfaced ahead of her grand entrance at the star-studded fundraising gala.
In a striking portrait shared on Instagram by photographer Miles Diggs, Rihanna embraced the gala’s Black dandy theme, wearing a fitted gray Miu Miu blouse and skirt that accentuated her baby bump.
She completed her look with matching knee-high boots, a fur stole, and a chic black cloche hat.
A$AP Rocky, who co-chaired the event, later confirmed the exciting news to reporters on the red carpet, expressing gratitude for the warm wishes.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” he said. “I’m glad everybody’s happy for us because we’re definitely happy.”
Once all other guests had arrived, Rihanna made her way onto the red carpet in a deconstructed black ensemble featuring a cropped jacket, polka dot accessories, and a wide-brimmed hat.
She proudly cradled her baby bump while flashing a radiant smile for the cameras.
Rihanna had a similarly memorable pregnancy reveal back in 2023 while performing at the Super Bowl halftime show and later attended the Met Gala that year before welcoming her second child.
She and A$AP Rocky are already parents to two sons: RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023.

The tradition of showcasing a baby bump at the Met Gala has become somewhat of a trend, with retired tennis star Serena Williams doing so in 2023 and model Karlie Kloss cradling her bump both that year and again in 2024.
