Rufai Oseni Defends His Reporting on Very Dark Man

Media personality Rufai Oseni has responded firmly to allegations that he spread misinformation regarding the Very Dark Man (VDM) case.

He maintains that his coverage was grounded in verified insights obtained from multiple credible sources within the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In addressing the criticisms, Rufai stated, “I personally verified the VDM story with EFCC sources who confirmed the information before I shared it, echoing the BBC’s report. My confirmations came from various EFCC contacts.”

The Media personality Rufai Oseni categorically dismissed the claims of spreading fake news, asserting, “The notion that I published false information is untrue, and those making such claims are aware of this. I possess solid evidence to support my statements. I would not speak without facts. I stand by my story.”
