Sanwo-Olu commissions reconstructed roads

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor has commissioned the reconstructed Chief Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Akiogun Road, an alternative routes to Admiralty Circle Plaza in Lekki and Abudu Smith Street.
The roads are located in the Iru Victoria Island Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Eti-Osa Local Government Area.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu Lagos state governor in his commissioning speech, noted the significance of the projects in improving mobility and urban infrastructure.
“Today, we officially commission two projects under the LASG Infrastructure Project. This initiative is a major step toward enhancing transportation and the overall quality of life for our citizens,” he said.
He described Abudu Smith Street in Victoria Island as a vital hub for business and tourism, adding that it was upgraded to ensure smoother traffic flow and reduce congestion.
“Improving this road will make navigation easier for residents and visitors alike,” the governor added.

Sanwo-Olu pointed out the great impact of these infrastructure improvements, saying: “These projects reflect our commitment to building a world-class city that meets the needs of its residents. Investing in infrastructure is crucial for economic growth, improved mobility, and a better quality of life for all Lagosians,”
The Lagos State governor restated his administration’s dedication to sustainable urban development.
“Together, we will continue working to create a functional, prosperous, and sustainable Lagos for future generations.
