Sanwo-Olu hands over 250 patrol vehicles, others to Police

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor, has handed over more than 250 brand new patrol vehicles, hardware, communication gadgets, and protective gear to the police as part of efforts to enhance security operations across the state.

Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, on New Media revealed the development on his X account, saying the event took place at Lagos House, Ikeja, during the Lagos State Security Trust Fund’s 18th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security yesterday.

In his post, Gawat wrote: “Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu, has handed over 250+ brand new patrol vehicles, hardware, communication gadgets, and protective gear to the police to boost security operations in Lagos State. The event with the theme “Data and Technology-Driven Security: The Way Forward.” took place at Lagos House, Ikeja, for the Lagos State Security Trust Fund 18th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor.
