PE Energy Limited, in partnership with Chevron Nigeria Limited and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has employed six outstanding graduates from its Human Capital Development (HCD) programme aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s local content in the oil and gas sector.

The six, selected from a cohort of 46 trainees, earned automatic employment after excelling in a 12-month intensive training at the PANA Academy, the competency development arm of PE Energy and a subsidiary of PANA Holdings.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony in Port Harcourt, Group CEO of PE Energy and Chairman of PANA Holdings, Dr. Daere Akobo, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to building Nigerian capacity in the energy space.

“At PE Energy, we are not only supporting Nigerian content, we are building it. Through direct investment in human capital via PANA Academy, we are equipping Nigerian youths with future-proof skills to thrive and lead in the industry,” he said.

He stressed the importance of public-private collaboration, commending Chevron Nigeria Limited and NCDMB for their technical support and alignment with national policy goals.
