Senator Die At 70 In Abuja

Jonathan Zwingina, a former Senate Majority Leader reportedly passed away at the age of 70.
Report has it that the politician died on Wednesday, October 2 in Abuja.
The deceased served as the Director-General of the MKO Abiola Campaign Organization during the June 12, 1993 presidential election.
He represented the Adamawa South Senatorial District in the Senate and also a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party before later defecting to the All Progressives Congress.

While his family has yet to formally confirm his death, it is believed he succumbed to a prolonged illness.
