Gunmen Abduct Anambra Assembly Member, Justice Azuka

The Anambra State Police Command has verified the kidnapping of Justice Azuka, the representative for Onitsha North Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly. Azuka was abducted on Tuesday night while returning home on Ugwunapampa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha, a major commercial area in the state.
Confirming the abduction, Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said efforts were underway to rescue the lawmaker and arrest his abductors.
It was revealed that The Anambra Police Command has activated operational plans for the possible rescue and arrest of the kidnappers of Mr. Justice Azuka, Honourable State House of Assembly member representing Onitsha North Constituency.
“The report of the incident indicates that on December 24, 2024, at about 9:20 pm, while returning home along Ugwunapampa Road, he was abducted by unidentified persons.
Following the abduction it was gathered that the Anambra Police Command are working on leads to ensure his rescue and the arrest of those responsible.
