Tragedy struck at Wellington Bassey Barracks, Ibagwa, Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, as a Nigerian Army officer, Lieutenant Samson Haruna, lost his life after being allegedly set ablaze by his wife during a domestic dispute.

According to reports, the heartbreaking incident occurred just seven months into their marriage, throwing the military community and residents of the area into shock.
