FirstBank’s FirstAcademy Earns Global Recognition for Social, Climate Impact

FirstAcademy, the corporate training arm of FirstBank, has received the prestigious Gold Award for Best Corporate University in Social & Climate Change at the 2025 Global Council of Corporate Universities (GlobalCCU) Awards.
The award, presented in Paris, France, acknowledges FirstAcademy’s exceptional efforts in integrating social and climate change education into its learning and development programmes. According to the bank, the academy’s initiatives are designed to address internal stakeholder needs while advancing corporate social responsibility.
Held biennially, the GlobalCCU Awards honour excellence in corporate education worldwide. Since its inception in Paris in 2013, the awards have recognised institutions that create lasting value for individuals, businesses, communities, and the planet.
