Super Eagles coach visits players ahead of World Cup qualifiers

Eric Chelle, newly appointed head coach and his first assistant, Hedi Taboubi, have begun engagements with key players as the Super Eagles prepare for their very important FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March,
In a post shared on the Super Eagles’ official X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, photos of the visit were accompanied by the caption: “Head coach Eric Chelle and first assistant Hedi Taboubi visited some Super Eagles players ahead of the crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers. 🇳🇬🦅#RoadToWorldCup2026 #SoarSuperEagles”
FCNN reported earlier that Eric Chelle was appointed as the head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles on January 7, 2025.
Eric Chelle newly appointed appointment comes at a very important time for Nigerian football, following a series of underwhelming performances in the qualifiers.
