A two storey building has collapsed on Amusu Street, in Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State.
The building which collapsed on Monday morning as people are about to start their business activities for the day led to people running in different directions for safety.
Samuel Olatunji, a media executive and blogger posted a video of the building as it went down on his Instagram page.
The tragic incident was also disclosed by X users.
Reacting to the collapse, an X user @PR4orileboy wrote: “This just happened in Orile Sari-Iganmu, we pray for the people stuck in the rubbles. LASG needs to wake up amd enforce strict laws on housing in this area; as there are lots of houses that needs standard renovations.
As at the time of filing this report, the Lagos State government is yet to react to the incident.
