A 12-year-old boy, Adnan Bulana, was killed by vigilantes searching for suspected miscreants in Niger State.
The incident occurred in the Soje A area of the Chanchaga local government area on April 1, 2025. A stray bullet from the vigilantes’ gunfire struck and killed the boy. The death sparked outrage, leading to youths attacking the vigilante’s office. Police quickly restored order.

Separately, on March 31, 2025, a fight between youths in Angwan-Roka, Maitumbi, resulted in Safaryu Musa being stabbed in the stomach. He is receiving treatment. Police confirmed both incidents.
