Abakiliki priest urges Tinubu to prevent Nigeria’s Collapse

A Catholic Priest from the Abakiliki Diocese, Rev. Fr. Fidelis Eze, have urged President Bola Tinubu to take real action to prevent Nigeria’s collapse under his administration.
The Priest made the call during a Holy Mass Service at Government House Chapel in Abakaliki, emphasizing the need for the President’s “renewed hope agenda” to positively impact citizens.
Nigeria is facing severe economic hardship, worsened by the removal of fuel subsidies, which has led to a significant increase in essential commodity prices.
Eze said “many Nigerians are struggling to survive, with some dying from hunger due to the high cost of living. The recent fuel price hike has further worsened the situation, sparking concerns that it contradicts President Tinubu’s campaign promises”
He further stressed that the President must work with state governors and other stakeholders to fulfill his agenda and bring relief to Nigerians.
However, the priest encouraged congregants to always show generosity to those in need.
