FRSC boss pledges to address corruption among personnel

CC Aliyu Maaji, the new Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Katsina Sector Command, has warned staff of the command against motorists.
The new FRSC boss gave the warning when he assumed office in Katsina on Tuesday, saying that bribery would not be tolerated and any staff found guilty would be dismissed.
He went ahead to compel the personnel to key into the Corp Marshal policy and putting in their best to create good public image for the corp.
The sector commander noted that plans were been made to introduce a monthly stakeholders’ forum to create more awareness and collaborative efforts in the state.
He went ahead to thanked the state government and members of the press who were on ground to receive him, assuring to work together with each of the staff in order to ensure road safety and safe driving across the state.
Maaji then called on the personnel to put more effort in their commitment to duty and also appealed to road users and other stakeholders to continue to give the commission more support to enable it discharge its duties diligently to reduce road accidents and traffic.
