In a continued commitment to delivering quality governance, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has approved financial assistance for Delta State indigenes attending the seven Nigerian Law Schools for the 2022/2023 academic year. This announcement follows the recent approval of a bursary award for over 30,000 Delta State students enrolled in tertiary institutions across Nigeria for the same academic year.
The approval was confirmed in a statement by Dr. Godfrey Enita, Executive Secretary of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, which was released to the press in Asaba. Dr. Enita emphasized that this initiative aligns with Governor Oborevwori’s MORE agenda, aimed at advancing both human and infrastructural development for the people of Delta State. He also highlighted that the governor’s actions reflect his dedication to enhancing the lives of Deltans through meaningful human capital development. “Governor Oborevwori is working, and Deltans are happy,” Enita stated.
