Yahoo Suspect Apprehended Performing Alleged Ritual in Egbalor, Ebubu, Eleme LGA


Following credible intelligence, members of the Egbalor Youth Council, under the leadership of the Youth President, Comrade Solomon Chu, apprehended an individual suspected of internet fraud while allegedly conducting a ritual in a residential compound.
The suspect, identified as Prince Chuks from Mbaise in Imo State, was reportedly caught burying a bundle wrapped in white cloth containing fresh meat, kola nuts, fingernails, and human hair in the compound of his landlord in Egbalor, Ebubu, Eleme Local Government Area.
Upon interrogation, Mr. Chuks claimed to be a traditionalist, stating that the ritual was intended to seek favour and personal progress in light of recent setbacks, including job losses and other challenges.
A local resident who witnessed the act raised the alarm, prompting immediate intervention by members of the youth council.
The Egbalor Youth Council, led by Comrade Chu, emphasized that this incident serves as a strong warning to individuals involved in illicit and suspicious activities. The council reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace, security, and zero-tolerance stance on crime within the community.
