I Am Disappointed To Be Left Out, Super Eagles Hit Man Cries Out.

The recently released Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers games against Benin Republic and Rwanda on the 7th and 10th of September respectively has left some players disappointed, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Top among them is Rangers of Scotland hitman Cyriel Dessers, who has six caps for the senior national team of Nigeria with two goals to his name. This season he has so far performed better than all Nigerian strikers but yet, disappointed to miss out on the list for both games.
It was the same squard that played out under former coach Finidi George, who left out the 29 year old despite the fact that he scored the first goal of his time as coach, which was in the 2-0 friendly win against Ghana. He wasn’t called up for the subsequent games against South Africa and Benin Republic in the world cup qualifiers.
His tally of five goals in six games this season still didn’t earned him a chance and as expected he is disappointed, but won’t throw in the towel yet believing that he can catch the attention of the new coach of the team Bruno Labbadia.
Dessers will now focus on improving at Rangers, where he has turned around a not too impressive start to his time at the club with a whirlwind start to the season, forcing his critics into singing his praises so far this season.
