Breaking : Defense Sector Receives Largest Allocation As Tinubu Presents 47.9trn 2025 Budget

On Wednesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly, proposing a budget of N47.9 trillion. The budget, titled “The Restoration Budget: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity,”  outlines key allocations for various sectors.

In his presentation, President Tinubu highlighted the following major expenditures:

Defence and Security: N4.91 trillion,

Infrastructure : N4.06 trillion,

Education: N3.52 trillion,

Health N2.48 trillion.

These allocations reflect the government’s priorities for the coming fiscal year, with a significant emphasis on national security and development of critical infrastructure.”
