Buffalo Kills Hunter in Osun Forest

A hunter identified as “Alfa Elefon” tragically lost his life on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, after being attacked by a wild buffalo in a forest in Osun State.

According to local sources, the hunter sustained fatal injuries during the attack and was buried the following day, Thursday, in line with community traditions.

In response to the incident, the local leadership quickly deployed a team of seasoned hunters to eliminate the threat and safeguard the area.

The operation was led by Chief Balogun Nureni Hammed, popularly known as A-K Leader, a prominent Osogbo indigene and Commander of the Osun State chapter of the Hunters Group of Nigeria.
